Dead, not sleeping
Writer, Director, DP, and Post | Short Film
In Dead, Not Sleeping, a sleepless night becomes a battleground between memory and absence. Stripped of dialogue, the film follows a young man haunted by the physical and emotional remnants of a lost relationship. Sleep won’t come. And every attempt gives way to vivid echoes of the life he once shared in the same space. Water moves throughout as both a conduit for recollection and a gesture toward rebirth, tracing the quiet, disorienting process of learning to exist alone.
